22 Mendel’s First Law: A characteristic of an organism is determined by a pair of genes located at the same locus of a pair of homologous chromosomes. 24 Human activities can cause air pollution. Pollutants contain many synthetic substances which are often very toxic as they can interfere with the body’s metabolic processes. There is often no natural mechanism to eliminate them from the body. Aktiviti manusia boleh menyebabkan pencemaran udara. Kandungan bahan pencemar terdiri daripada bahan sintetik yang bersifat toksik dan boleh mengganggu metabolisme badan. Pada kebiasaannya tidak terdapat mekanisma semulajadi untuk menyingkirkannya daripada badan.
