How to Put the Smartboard Tools Icon in the Taskbar The taskbar is a row of icons that lives in the lower right corner of your monitor. It looks similar to this:
The icon that looks like a little Smartboard is the Smartboard Tools icon.
It is
supposed to live permanently in the taskbar. However, because of a network installation issue, you have to add this icon to the taskbar every time you log in. Without Smartboard Tools in the taskbar, you cannot write on the Smartboard. MIS is working to resolve this issue. In the meantime, here is how to add the Smartboard Tools icon to the taskbar:

Log in.

Check the taskbar to see if the Smartboard Tools icon is there. If it isn’t:

Click on Start, then point at All Programs>Smartboard Software> Smartboard Tools. Click on Smartboard Tools.

The Smartboard Tools icon will appear in the taskbar.
