Project Background The
task of photogrammetry had been given around Seri Manjung, Perak to produce Orthophoto, DEM map and topographic map.
The
task include surveying works, aerial photo captured and process the data taken.
The
duration to complete this task is at about 10 days.
Study Area
Aim and Objectives Aim The aim of this project is to obtain reliable information about physical objects and the environment of area Taman Samudera Fasa 2A, Seri Manjung, Perak by using UAV technology for photogrammetry survey. Objectives
To carry out horizontal control survey around the study area.
To locate Ground Control Point (GCP) and Verification Point (VP) on the aerial image.
To process and calculate RMSE Error for GCP and VP.
To generate Orthophoto, DEM and topographic map, from aerial image

Error for GCP
The tolerance for the GCP error should follow the ground resolution which is 0.046m which are the total error for all GCP are below the tolerance required. This model can be used to generate DEM and Orthophoto but before that the image should be prove by using the Verification Point.

The tolerance of X < Y and Z should follow the guidance from the ASPRS article produce in 2015. In ASPRS the tolerance X, Y should be 0.75 m and for Z the tolerance should be 0.5 m. Since the error for X and Y is 0.114 m and 0.085 this error is in tolerance 0.75 m and for Z the error is 0.472 m is below than 0.5 m and all of the error for X, Y and Z can be accepted. This project can be used to perform for others analyses since the error were within tolerance. X and Y is known as planimetric position and z is known as vertical position. The RMSE for both position were calculated by using formula.

Conclusion All the task is done by followed the objectives of this project which include carry out horizontal control survey, to locate the GCP and VP on the aerial images, to calculate RMS Error for GCP and VP and lastly to generate Orthophoto, DEM and Topography Map. Photogrammetry is not just to capture the images but it also include fieldwork to establish GCP and VP then being located on aerial images captured, to process RMSE error and lastly Orthophoto, DEM and Topography can be produced.
