SignalSiteMaap is designeed for communication en nthusiasts an nd fans.  It is an app ffor check cell info, suppo ort field test and replay, ssupport indo oor test and  replay. Fit to GSM, CDMA, U UMTS phone..  map2KML.  All field test record data can import to Google Eaarth use toolls SignalSitem SignalSiteMaap file test should be useed under GPSS is done and d keep data service on.

dcard/SignalSSitemaps/*.ccsv to mark, *.csv file column should like:  /sd lon ngtitude/latittude/label/note1/note2//...  Purple flag is the temp point you marked or Seaarched cell

  1.2 Field Test (   Outdoor) 

Enable and sstart field tesst, input testt file name, w we will recorrd signal poin nt in live afte er  GP PS is done.  1

The record d data is auto ssaved to file.. You can also start a new w field test b by click “New w  Testt” on left, thee old one will be saved. The default field test filee name is “Saample Time_ _Siginfo.txt”. Record file is put under  sdcaard/SignalSitemaps/SigReecord.

1.3 Replay of Fiield Test 

You can set to “Replay m mode” by “m menu – layer set –mode select”, get history signal  reco ord file by click ”Select Reeplay File”. TThe record signal will sho ow on the maap when retu urn  backk to the map p.    If record filee is too large (up to 1 hou urs record), w we suggest yyou use our P PC tools to lo ook  at it at Google earth.  nt and servin ng cell will sh how on map..  Line betweeen signal poin

You can use our PC tools to translate field test file to KML, and look at it at Google earth.  We also support view different signal at Google Earth.

You can use “menu – Option – Import Cell Data Base” to import your cell data base.  “Cell Data Base Info ” and “Clear Cell Data Base ” can show data base info and clear the data  base you import.  Before import data base, you should put CSV file in sdcard/SignalSitemaps/DataBase/,  the format of *.csv file (comma separated) is: Lon(must),Lat(must),Label(must not null),GSM  LAC‐CID/ or CDMA SID‐NID‐BSID/(used to search, must end with "/", multi cells of same site  should be separate with "/" ),Info1,Info2.   

Only Lon, Lat and Label are must. But if you want app to locate serving cell by 

Data Base, you should add GSM LAC‐CID or CDMA SID‐NID‐BSID too.

If the GPS o or Serving cell location ch hange over 5 500 meter, ap pp will show w the data base  poin nt of current map screen. Only less th han 80 data b base points w will be show wn in one scre een ,  for n not act slow..

You can add d temp cell laayer on map p by “menu ‐ layer Set‐ Seelf Layer”.  The column ns of *.csv sh hould be: Lon n, Lat , Label , Info1, Info2, …, and put this *.csv file  just under SDCard/SignalSiteemaps.    Up to 7 colo or self layerss can be add on the map.. Not add too o many pointts at one selff  layeer, otherwisee it will show slow (we su uggest in 300 0 points).

You can savve map screeen by “Menu u – Option – SSave Map Sccreen”.    You can find d saved file **.png at sdcaard\SignalSittemaps\ScreenImage\.

You can savve your curreent location by “Menu ‐ O Option ‐ Savee Current Location”. The e GPS  location will be ssaved if GPS is done, oth herwise serving cell location will be saaved.  If you choosse “Menu ‐ O Option ‐ Savee Click Point””, back to maap screen, yo ou can click tthe  location you want save.  map by “Men nu ‐ Layer Seet ‐ Layer Select – My Favvor  The saved location can be view on m Locaation Layer.””

You can creeate your ow wn offline maap use “Mobiile_Atlas_Creeator”, the m map format

If you choicce “Search Ceell Location ffrom Local DB First” at “LLayer Set”, th he serving ce ell  location will be ssearch from local DB by C CID or BSID ffirst . Otherw wise the cell location will be  DB on googlee.  searrch on net firrst, and the aaccuracy of location is baased on the D If you have local cell loccation, we su uggest you im mport it to th he phone.   

2. Indoor Te est (Floor P  Picture + T  Touch Poin nt )  GPS signal n not be got w when you are in building. We support this indoor ttest by touch h  poin nt method.  o test indoor signal.  After load aa floor layer, you can touch screen to 2.1 Indoor Testt 

Indoor floor layer picturre should bee put at sdcarrd/SignalSiteemaps/Indoo orTest/, and the  test result file w will save to th he same foldeer.    Load a floorr layer by meenu, click and d choice the start point, move some steps forward,  ddle point, th he signal point will distrib bute in line o of  clickk and choice to stop test or just a mid two points you cclick. The tesst file will be saved if you u choice to sttop test.  The record file name is : picname_####.txt, keep the “picnam me_” if you w want to rename  it, because app w will use this tto load floorr layer when in replay mo ode.

Down Tiltt Calculate e  You can gett one of dow wn tilt, antenn na high and coverage by the other tw wo.  Main Beam coverage = antenna high / tan(down n tilt);  Down 3dB ccoverage = aantenna high / tan(down tilt + Verticaal Beam Width/2);  Upper 3dB coverage = aantenna high h / tan(down n tilt ‐ Verticaal Beam Widtth/2);

4. Cell Info (   Text View w)  Cell info(Texxt view) will sshow cell inffo including LLAC‐CID, sign nal, NB cell EEtc. on text m mode.  (SID,NID,BSID,RSSSI,EC/IO forr CDMA).  4.1 Cell info tex xt view save e screen

You will costt money to d down load m map when at ffield test on map mode, we support to  field d test at text only mode. The signal in nfo will show w on screen, and will be rrecorded to tthe  file aafter GPS is d done.  The record ssignal file is ssame to map p mode, you can also rep play this file b by map mode or  use PC tools creaate to KML ffile.
