Agency Development Officer (ADO) Mohmand Agency, FATA Development Program – Govt. to Community from January 29th, 2008 to 4th April 2008. The ADO is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing the FDP-GC activities in his/her area of responsibility. • • • • • •

Advise senior management on programmatic strategy, including where to focus program resources, how to develop operational relationships with the PA structures, and how to address programmatic challenges as they arise. Manage relationships with relevant stakeholders, including but not limited to GOP personnel at the Agency and local levels, community and tribal leaders, and local organizations and communities. Monitor and report on the rapidly changing political environment and actively contribute to the FDP-GC’s overall strategy, design and implementation. Establish and oversee consultative processes between GOP structures and target communities to identify, recommend, design, and develop projects for funding. Identify potential grantees, and provide and/or arrange for technical assistance to them as required. Ensure the successful implementation of grant activities, including planning and the transparent procurement of grant-related goods and services. Successful implementation should include on-going consultative processes, and GOP and community involvement in all phases. Use the FDP-GC Activity Database for grant development, tracking, and reporting. In conjunction with other FDP-GC staff, evaluate completed grants. Share with other program staff successful methodologies for consultative approaches to grant development and implementation. Provincial Technical Expert, Women Political School Project United Nation Development Programme (UNDP) – Since January 2005 to October. 2007: The Women Political School Project is a bilateral project between govt. of Pakistan, UNDP & Norwegian Govt. The purpose of the project is to institutionalize the process of motivating, enabling and empowering women councilors in public office of NWFP and FR areas of FATA. Main responsibilities are planning implementation & monitoring of the project. Manage the mobilization & provision on inputs of the projects & production of outputs, according to project document & the procedures province in the project operation manual. Advisor Volunteers, Pakistan Education Society (PES) – (Since April 2004 till date) PES is a non government organization actively working with ADB/UNDP/Royal Netherlands Embassy/Action Aid Pakistan in the field of education, health, governance, sanitation, environment & establishment of non formal schools.
