SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST A rare vacancy has arisen and Lucsan Capital (‘LC’) is looking for an Electronic Trading Exchange Senior Business Analyst to assist in client projects relating to Exchange / ECN based system implementations across financial markets / banking initiatives. LC is looking for a highly motivated individual who is interested in an opportunity to play a key role in a rapidly expanding international company with projects across various industries. Key skills include strong knowledge of the local and Asian-Pac equities and derivative markets, in particular Order Management Systems (OMS), Algo Trading, Clearing and Settlements process, FIX protocol and exchange connectivity. Projects will consist of technical and business analysis, system implementations, technology reviews, system certifications, product deployment, system configuration and the provision of subsequent onsite consulting services to clients. The job will be based in our Sydney offices and may require interstate / international travel. ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE Business analysis within the Finance Banking Industry (Equity Derivates, Cash Markets, Options / Futures, Fixed Income) ASX / SFE Electronic Trading ECN Solutions PREFERRED SKILLS SOLID experience with global exchange connectivity ideally in the Australia and Asia Pacific region; EXPERIENCED implementing and working with local systems such as NasdaqOMX Click / ITS, IRESS, ORC, GBST, DCA, Sungard GMI, CharlesRiver, FIX Technology, etc., their APIs and underlying databases; UNDERSTANDING of FIX ( 4.0 – 5.0 ) / FIXML / FAST protocol from a consultant’s perspective; FAMILIAR with exchange trading technology, market data and trade settlements from both a business and technical perspective as well as strong understanding of the local trading compliance regime (AOP / ACOP); EXPERIENCE with Business Analysis and dealing with complex Algorithmic trading platforms; EXPERT skills in designing / building Electronic Trading systems, Direct Market Access (DMA) and ECN solutions; GOOD knowledge of end-to-end trade cycle and exchange related cash and derivative products; STRONG analytical and architectural / design skills; CONFIDENT working with front to back electronic trading Front to Back Electronic Trading implementations; EXCELLENT documentation and presentation skills with a consultative manner.
