Responsibilities As a Oracle Database Administrator Involved in migration and enhancement of database from 9i to 10g using opatch. Automated and manual testing experience in the client server environment

Created and maintain different database entities included tablespaces, datafiles, rollback segments,relocationg datafiles on server etc. Rebuilding the indexes when necessary. Perform user & security administrative activities such as enrolling users, granting privileges to users and maintaining system security. Employing Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) with standard management, diagnostic tuning to perform various administrative tasks. Estimate current and future requirements in terms of storage and other resources including capacity planning. Database security and auditing including DML auditing. Established database backup recovery strategy for different databases and used job scheduler for that. Data transferring with export/import facilities used like DATAPUMP and SQL LOADER. Hot/Cold back-up /restore database to maintain integrity. Perform database tuning using various tools like OEM, STATSPACK. Regular monitoring of oracle instance using OEM ,monitor users, tablespaces,memory structures, logs and alerts. SQL tunig using TKPROF with SQL trace, EXPALIN PLAN, SQL tuning advisor. Analyzed and monitored the data got by ADDM (Automatic Database Diagnostic Monitoring) in the AWR (Automatic Workload Repository). Table fragmentation tuning ,partitioning the large tables by date.
