Job Posting Title SCM Logistics Analyst Job Description Summary Advanced Level Application Engineer. Working under guidance of more senior Application Engineers, the role will be involved in analysing requirements, implementing or testing components, as well as supporting IT applications enhancements, release and maintenance, which may require a close collaboration with third party suppliers. The role will specialise in a particular area of Application Engineering typically around one or more Commercial Software as a Service systems.

Job Description Job Specification/Role Summary Function / Team / Location – GSC&S, Supply Chain CoE – Analytics/ India/ Chennai The Logistics Analyst should be an expert in data visualization with deep knowledge of BI tools with focus on logistics & supply chain, and experience in working with complex datasets. As part of the Central Analytics team in Global Supply Chain, you will focus on providing data driven insights that streamline decision making. You will be working closely with other analysts and developers, business partners, end-users, and senior leaders across the globe to jointly identifying improvement opportunities, develop powerful dashboards and executive summaries and supporting projects that enhance business value creation. As a Logistics analyst, your responsibilities will include understanding and supporting key Supply Chain (SC) planning process through SC performance management. Candidate Knowledge, Skills & Experience – 

Good knowledge of logistics function



Strong analytical capabilities



Strong data visualization experience



Experience in working and analyzing data related to logistics, distribution and transportation



Experience in using state-of-art visualization/BI tools



Experience in working in SAP environment



Ability to connect data to business decisions



Ability to effectively present complex information to senior leaders



Ability to handle ambiguity and change effectively, and working in an Agile environment

Experience / Skills this placement will develop This role will provide a solid foundation of Analytics and Supply Chain. The role exposes you to end to end supply chain processes and the science behind supply chain management. It provides unique

opportunity to develop functional and technical knowledge, along with personal development. This role will help enhance capabilities in the field of communication, stakeholder management, and influencing, while developing strong technical knowledge and deep understanding of supply chain management and logistics. You will get direct exposure to different systems and reports, opportunity to experiment with different tools and techniques, and enhance your skills in data visualization, and advanced analytics. This experience will provide a better understanding and appreciation of the global nature of operations and of how the different elements fit to drive excellence. Must have: 

At least 8 – 11 years of work experience in the Analytics and Business Intelligence with focus on Logistics and supply chain



Strong experience in logistics metrics and analysing data related to logistics, distribution and transportation



Strong experience and in-depth knowledge creating dashboards, preferably in Power BI or Qlikview environment



Strong understanding of the business context in which data is being reported.



Ability to meet competitive deadlines



Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders across teams/regions/disciplines and successfully leverage the inputs that they might have to offer.



Good to have (not must, though):



Professional certifications in any of the widely used BI tools/SAP



Exposure to working with key metrices and KPIs of Supply chain processes like Demand planning, Supply planning, etc.



Academic/Professional background in Supply chain management



Certifications/Exposure to some of the process improvement methodologies like Lean/Six Sigma, etc.



Exposure to working in a supply chain process before.
