1. For students like us, schools are our second home. We spend majority of our time in schools. School molds and shapes every student for a better future both academically and personally. 2. My dream school is first of all a school where the teacher is full of passion and liveliness. Such a teacher gets the students interested in whatever they teach. He/she encourages the students to ask questions, is a friend to them and brings to the classroom a dialogue than a boring monologue. (Teachers & teaching method)
3. My dream school encourages me to learn from nature; it will have class rooms both in door and outdoors, in short a school like Shantiniketan established by Rabindranath Tagore. It should enable students to be free and have doors and windows wide open to information and education from nature 4. Its curriculum should include vocational education along with everyday subjects. It should combine education with work. For example, it should encourage students to learn pottery, weaving, organize park clean ups, let its students help rural, poor students (Gandhi’s Nai Talim) 5. It exposes students to different cultures of the world (Tagore) 6. My dream school will have facilities like hi-tech labs, good library, sports facilities. It has a counselling center also to help students in crisis situations. It has a canteen that makes available clean and nutritious foods for balanced diet of students. It should provide a safe, happy and fun environment to its students. For example, students will not die at my dream school (no student suicide or muders during exams – Ryan murder case Delhi or rapes of children)
In short my dream school is one that helps students attain all-round development. It turns students into humane, environmentally conscious, world citizens and not just career-minded individuals. 8. I am thankful for my school St.Joseph’s as it is the best thing to happen to me. But I am only a dreamer and so I also wish for my dream school. 7.
