OBJECTIVE:

Students learn how to identify basic symbols of music notation, and how they sound.

LEARN:

Quarter NOTE

LESSON:

RHYTHM NAMES - Use the sounds of the notes to identify the rhythm of each word.

= 1 Beat (TA)

2 Eighth NOTES

= 1 Beat (Ti-Ti)

The amount of syllables must be equal to the amount of notes. Class Assessment:

Match the Characters: ASSIGNMENT:

Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, Black Panther, Flash

Give each student a piece of construction paper. Fold it into 3 sections. Students will need a writing utensil. One section is for their name. The other section is for the notes. Last is for the sound (ta)
