Open solid works, select part design in new option. Select the plane and start to sketch the 2d upper half cross section of design. Draw the centre line. Perform revolve extrude along the centre line. Save the file at desired location.

Result:we have successfully sketched and drafted the given sketch.

Perform revolve extrude along the centre line. Select the one of the face of solid part. Sketch the hexagon of desired dimension and extrude it to the given size. Fillet the open end of hexagon part of the solid part of given radii. Save the file at desired location.

Open solid works, select part design in new option. Select the plane and start to sketch the 2d centre path of design. Draw a cross section view on the plane perpendicular to the free end of the sketch. Perform the swept boss/base on the sketch. Save the file at desired location.

AIM: Sketching and drafting of given design. APPARATUS/SOFTWARE REQUIRED: SOLID WORKS.

PROCEDURE:         

Open solid works, select part design in new option. Select the plane and draft the cylindrical part and then draft the conical part at one of the free end of cylindrical body. Fillet it to make it soften. Draft the conical upper head of bolt at the free end of the cylindrical part of given dimensions. Draw the plus shape of given size at the upper head of the bolt and extrude cut it with given angle and length. Take a plane on the cylindrical part and draw the helix with varying pitch respecting to varying diameter. Take a plane perpendicular to the free end of the helix and draw the sketch of given size. Now swept it along the previously drawn helix. Save the file at desired location.

Result: we have successfully sketched and drafted the given sketch.

AIM: Sketching , drafting and assemble of given design. APPARATUS/SOFTWARE REQUIRED: SOLID WORKS.

PROCEDURE:      

Open solid works, select part design in new option. Draw all the elements as given dimensions. Draw all the elements by use of extrude, revolve extrude, swept etc. features. For assembling all elements by selecting assembly in new option. To assemble used matting option. Save the file at desired location.

RESULT: we have successfully sketched, drafted and assembled the given design.
