HARI PERTEMUAN/ : JAM TEMPAT PERTEMUAN : 1. Manfaat Mata Kuliah: Setelah mengikuti proses pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris I diharapkan mahasiswa S1 – Keperawatan mampu: a. Memahami listening TOEFL b. Memahami structure dan written expression di TOEFL c. Memahami tehnik reading comprehension TOEFL d. Menerapkan writing in nursing activity e. Menerapkan speaking English in daily conversation at nursing department 2.

Deskripsi Mata Kuliah: Mata kuliah ini menguraikan tentang listening comprehension, structure and written expression, reading comprehension, dan writing. Melalui pendekatan materi yang disampaikan di Bahasa Inggris III ini diharapkan mahasiswa mampu mengenal dan melakukan empat kompetensi dasar dalam bahasa Inggris yaitu listening, structure, reading, dan writing. Tujuan khusus dari mata kuliah ini adalah untuk memperkenalkan TOEFL kepada mahasiswa dengan harapan mahasiswa dapat mengenal dan menguasai materi-materi yang berkenaan dengan tes TOEFL, sehingga pada ahirnya mahasiswa dapat memiliki sertifikat TOEFL yang berguna untuk study lanjut atau bekerja di luar negeri. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, diskusi, laboratorium, role play dan penugasan-penugasan.
