Irong Barat A Acceleration of Tail Reserves Recovery Lead and responsible to evaluate strategies to recover remaining oil reserves prior to production sharing contract expiry. Main options are either to increase production or reduce the reservoir decline rate. Worked with reservoir and machinery department to obtain the production profile, facilities upgrade and life cycle cost associated with every options. Semangkok A Produced Water System Capacity Reinstement Lead and responsible to restore produce water system capacity in view of facilities deterioration, increase in sand production and tight oil-water emulsion. Initiated replacement of CPI internal corrugated plates, control valves upgrade, chemical injection optimization and sand cleaning strategy. Re-prioritized well flowing seriatim to result in maximum production within the tolerable sand and emulsion handling limit. Fieldwide Equipment Upgrade Recommendation Undertook the task of studying and recommending alternative models for critical equipment to improve reliability and life cycle cost. Irong Barat Emulsion Wells Back-on-Line Lead and responsible to BOL emulsion wells without creating upset to downstream facilities. Led the risk assessment between Irong Barat and TCOT team. Developed BOL procedure, sampling and contingency plan for off-spec crude and oil sheen avoidance. Followed through implementation until successful BOL. Semangkok A Back-up Fuel Gas System Designed a split piping configuration in order tap the fuel gas from turbo compressor while the turbo generator fuel gas scrubber was offline. Ran HYSIS simulation to determine optimum flowrate, temperature and dew point. Installed piping and successfully commissioned the system that resulted in operating cost reduction from using diesel. Risk Assessments Semangkok scheduled sand cleaning deferment - Lead Assessed the risk of deferring the 6-monthly scheduled shutdown for sand cleaning. The scope covers assessing the risk of hydrocarbon leaks, instrumentation failure and environmental exposure due to oil spill. TCOT impact from Irong Barat emulsion wells - Lead Assessed the risk of bringing back a prolonged shut-in emulsion wells and the impact to the downstream crude oil terminal. The scope covers downtime due to off-specification produced water quality and environmental exposure due to oil spill. Semangkok welding work during pressurized shutdown - Lead Assessed the risk of performing a welding work simultaneously during a shutdown without depressurization scenario, in order to reduce the downtime. The scope covers risk of explosion due to leaks and gas clouds. Semangkok fuel gas scrubber metallurgy change – Lead Assessed the risk of substituting low temperature allow with normal carbon steel in order to mitigate prolonged downtime due to exotic material leadtime. The scope covers personnel injury and gas release concern due to low temperature brittleness. Irong Barat flare ignitor outage – Member Assessed the risk of operating Irong Barat platform without the continuous ignition from the faulty flare ignitor, during a low to zero flare gas scenario. The scope covers risk of gas clouds engulfing the platform. Irong Barat 5-yearly PHA review – Member Took part in the scheduled 5 yearly PHA review that involves review of overall technical conformity, list of MOC, escape routes, personnel protection, drawings and area classification.
