Reflection I look in the mirror and see my ugly lie That curled smile Those pain stricken eyes My mirrors reflection showing off my lies In a way revealing what truly is Look in my eyes and you will see Pain and beauty kept only to me Never to be shown again Take a good look and remember this well Before you utter another word Tears of sorrow trickle down your face Even I could hardly erase I shared our scars But never again will I let my hand Pick up the broken pieces Pain comes in throngs of hatred The mirror in my eyes shatters to the floor Your reflections eyes mirror yourself And you see what you’ve done I kept myself alive but you threw yourself away Even I lye under the weeping willow It cries what you could not “I’m sorry,” I say “For making you see, but that’s why you created me”
