PICTURE CLUES
Activity: Picture Walk
Students “walked” through the story: they were presented only the pictures from the story Chameleon’s Colors . They could identify: - the main characters - the setting (where the action takes place) - the story events - the resolution (end of the story) A discussion followed on how useful pictures are in identifying the above-mentioned story elements or even in decoding new, unfamiliar words.
