To import text into Read out load, first save the document as an RTF file by going to FileSave as and choosing “RTF” in the “Save as Type” drop-down menu. Next, navigate to the SOLO eText folder. To do this, click on “My Computer” and choose the “Local Disk (C)”. Next, double click on the “Don Johnston” folder, then on the “SOLO” folder. After that, double click on the “Content” folder. Within the “Content Folder”, you should see the “eText” subfolder. Drag and drop (or copy and paste) the RTF version of the document into the eText folder. Your document will now be available in the eText window when the student opens Read Out Loud. FOR FREELY AVAILABLE BOOKS
