Rapid system of basic mathematics: New tables for Speed Multiplication from No.1 to 25. (In conventional multiplication tables we have to remember the tables for no 1 to 16 or 20 up to 20. In this revolutionary system one need not remember the tables at all, simply remember the under motioned rules and apply them to get the results. Some basic explanations in this system are given as below: 1) NUMBER – Number is the individual digit of the multiplicand. In multiplicand 1234 - 1, 2, 3, 4 are the numbers. 2) NEIGHBOUR – Neighbour is the right digit of the number. In multiplicand 1234 - Assume 0 on both sides of the multiplicand. The right hand digit of the 4 (i.e neighbour for 4 ) is 0 The right hand digit of the 3 (i.e neighbour for 3 ) is 4 The right hand digit of the 2 (i.e neighbour for 2 ) is 3 The right hand digit of the 1 (i.e neighbour for 1 ) is 2 The right hand digit of the 0 (i.e neighbour for 0 ) is 1 3) HALF – Half of the neighbour is always arrived at dropping the fraction in the case of odd numbers. In multiplicand 1234 - Assume 0 on both sides of the multiplicand. Half of neighbour for number 4 is 0/2 and hence half of the neighbor is 0. Half of neighbour for number 3 is 4/2 + 5 = 7 adding 5 as the number is odd and hence half of the neighbour is 7. Half of neighbour for number 2 is 3/2 = 1 (dropping the fraction) and hence half of the neighbor is 1. Half of neighbour for number 1 is 2/2 + 5 = 6 adding 5 as the number is odd and hence half of the neighbour is 6 Half of neighbour for number 0 is 1/2 = 0 (dropping the fraction) and hence half of the neighbor is 0. 4) If there is no neighbour to the number then assume 0 as the neighbour. These simple rules are for multiplication of any number by numbers 1 to 25. Remembering and applying them will be a fascinating one as the speed at which the results are got. The multiplications does not involve any direct multiplication, instead only addition or subtraction as the case may be ;) Rule for multiplication by No 1 – Repeat the same number. 2 – Add the number to the number.

3 – Double the number and add the number. 4 – Double the number and add double the number. 5 – Half the neighbour and add 5 if the number is odd. 6 - Half the neighbour and add the number and add 5 if the number is odd. 7 – Half the neighbour and add double the number and add 5 if the number is odd. 8 – Double the number and subtract from the neighbour. 9 – Subtract the number from the neighbour. 10 – Add to the multiplicand. 11 – Add the neighbour to the number. 12 – Double the number and add the neighbour. 13 - Double the number and add the number and add the neighbour. 14 - Double the number and add double the number and add the neighbour 15 - Half the neighbour and add the neighbour and add 5 if the number is odd. 16 - Half the neighbour and add the neighbour and add the number and add 5 if the number is odd 17 - Half the neighbour and add the neighbour and add double the number and add 5 if the number is odd. 18 - Double the number and subtract from the neighbour and add the neighbour and add 5 if the number is odd. 19 - Subtract the number from the neighbour and add the neighbour. 20 – Put zero and double each number. 21 – Double the neighbour and add the number. 22 - Double the neighbour and add double the number 23 - Double the neighbour and add double the number and add the number. 24- Double the neighbour and add double the number and add double the number 25 - Half the neighbour and add double the neighbour and add 5 if the number is odd.
