If the completed checklist is delayed, it will impact your conversion schedule.

Customized field mapping (optional) The QuickBooks-to-Sage MAS 90 data conversion service offers an option for customizable mapping for general ledger accounts, bank information, taxes, vendors, customers, and items. An Excel® workbook is provided with separate worksheets for each of these items. For each of the customized field maps you want to use, you must complete and provide a workbook along with the completed Migration Preferences Checklist. This option is only necessary if you want to have complete control over your numbering scheme. If you do not require this level of control, you may choose from the available auto number options. Please refer to the Migration Preference Checklist for more details.

Sage MAS 90 shell database Select from three options for supplying the database: • Sage can convert your data into a generic company database. • If minor changes to the “generic” database are desired, Sage will provide you with a copy of the database, and you can outline requested changes in a text document. Sage will then use your preferences to modify the database. • If extensive changes are needed, you can modify the generic Sagesupplied database or you can create your own custom database from scratch. If you choose this option, you will need to complete the Initial Company Setup Checklist to ensure that certain parameters are set that are necessary for migrating data.

At the end of the business day prior to your conversion, back up your QuickBooks data and upload the file to the Sage Migration Portal. For information on how to back up your QuickBooks data, please refer to your QuickBooks documentation.

Log on to the Sage Migration Center Web Portal and upload the documents and databases from steps three and four.

• Log on to the Sage Migration Portal and select a date (first and second choice) for receiving your final “live” converted database from Sage. • You will be notified via e-mail with the approved date or will be provided with an alternative date. • At least 7 business days prior to the “live” migration date, upload your most current QuickBooks company database. Note: failure to upload your data 7 days prior to the migration date may impact our ability to meet the migration date commitment.
