DEFINITION OF TRIANGLE By joining three non collinear points is called a TRIANGLE . Is used to denote a TRIANGLE.A triangle ABC has been shown as follows:

In the above figure there are three points A,B,C. These are called vertices of a triangle ABC. Also BAC, ABC and BCA are angles of ABC

TO CONSTRUCT ON THE BASIS OF ANGLES 



On the basis of angles triangle can be constructed by two ways: On the basis of acute angled triangle : When a triangle is made from acute angles then it is called an acute angled triangled. On the basis of obtuse angled triangle: When a triangle is made from obtuse angles then it is called an obtuse angled triangled.

TO CONSTRUCT AN ACUTE ANGLED TRIANGLED  Draw

a straight line BC.  Construct an angle of 70o at B.  Construct an angle of 75o at C.  Both angles met at A. Thus an acute angled ABC is obtained.

TO CONSTRUCT AN OBTUSE ANGLED TRIANGLED  Draw

a straight line BC.  Construct an angle of 122o at B.  Construct an angle of 30o at C.  Both angles met at A. Thus an obtuse angled ABC is obtained.

PROPERTIES OF TRIANGLE  The

sum of the three angles of triangle is 180o.  In a triangle an exterior angle equals to the sum of two interior opposite angles.  The sum of any two sides of a triangle is greater than the third side.
