Right to medical care and humane treatment 2. right to informed consent – right to clear explanation, in lay man’s term all proposed procedures including identity of the person who will perform such procedure, the risks and benefits involved in the procedure 3. the right to privacy – the right to be left alone when this will not prejudice the provision of necessary medical care 4.
