Problem solving The below are just examples – you will need to add more! Theoretical Structure of the music video being off. My video getting copyrighted on YouTube because of the music. Meeting conventions Meeting rules of production.

Practical Not having actors/actresses turn up for filming.

Camera dying half way through filming. Shaky camera. Bad lighting wherever I decide to film. Sound quality not being good enough in the camera. Location being unavailable to film in.

Losing things/ not having everything on my website. Not having enough time to get everything filmed and edited before the deadline.

How to fix Research into a lot of professional music videos and see what the structure is like in them so that I can achieve the same level in mine. Make sure that in the title I put “educational video” so that they know the intention in which my video is being made. Research into codes and conventions of music videos and make sure to use them in mine so that it follows other professional music videos. Make sure there is no excessive swearing in the video and that it is suitable for the competition and course In general. How to fix Make sure that every actor is contacted and told when they are needed and where and remind them close to the time. Also, even after doing all this have a backup actor ready to go just in case the main choice isn’t available. Make sure I have a spare battery fully charged up and bring in my charger so that I can charge both if I end up using them both up in one day. Make sure to keep a steady hand or put the camera on a tri pod to keep the camera shot smooth. Bring some extra lights with me which I could use to eliminate unwanted shadow or help with visibility in darker places. Buy and bring in a mic which I can use with the camera to improve sound quality and overall make it sound more professional. Research on what is happening where I’d like to film and make sure it is free the day I want to be there and use it. Also, have a backup location nearby just in case I can’t use the location. Keep up to date with tasks so that I don’t fall behind and create sections so that I know where every task will go before I’ve even done them then as soon as I’ve done them put them on my website. Plan everything in loads of detail so that I know what I am doing every single day in college and make sure that I know deadlines and when it needs to be done by, never fall behind on work as well.
