Enrichment Program Teacher
If you or someone you know is interested in the Enrichment Program position, please visit with Mr. Salcedo or stop by the office for an application.
Field Day Rain Date
Just in case there is poor weather for our Field Day a “rain date” has been set for Monday, May 18th. Should it be determined that the weather is too bad to have Field Day each family will receive a phone call and there will be no school. Please plan to have your child at Central Catholic Track on Monday at 8:30 am.
Pennies for Patients Donation
GICS is a school committed to giving to our community and to those in need. Pennies for Patients, a program through the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will receive $75 from GICS as a percentage from our Spring Fundraiser.
Garage Sale Looking for a place to send all that stuff you’re cleaning out of your house? GICS will be having its annual Rummage Sale on Saturday, June 20th. You may bring in items any time and we will store them upstairs until June. Please see Mrs. Plond for additional details.
GICS Offers Summer School
Interested in having your child receive additional tutoring this summer? Mrs. Plond will be providing summer school opportunities, please see her for information!
Parent Runners Needed!
This year at Field Day we’re going to have some extra fun! We’ve added a parent/teacher relay team. Now we need some parents who would like to run…see Mrs. Erdmann or Mrs. Steele if you’d like to participate!
Award Ceremony
On Thursday, May 21st at 8:45 a.m. we will be presenting our students with their field day and spelling bee ribbons as well as giving a “Principal’s Award”. Parents are welcome to attend.
