INTRODUCTION In present advanced world we are introducing here a concept which can provide a cost efficient manner of Electricity Billing. This scheme of Electricity billing system called “PREPAID ENERGY METER WITH TARIFFE INDICATOR”
3
It can facilitate in improved cash flow management in energy utilities &can reduces problem associated with billing consumer
living in isolated area.
It is an tool which facilitates us to reduce manpower required for taking meter reading . In it according to their requirement consumers can buy a memory card and use the electricity.
4
The memory cards are available in various ranges (i.e. Rs 50, Rs 100, Rs 200 etc…) to full fill the needs of the consumers & the consumers are not bound to pay threshold amount of money.

basic concept & Methodology used
The basic concept which we are using here is that we are erasing the memory of EEPROM according with power consume in load. In our project we give the name for memory card as “SMART CARD”.
9
When card is inserted in card reader it start the prepaid energy meter kit , the card reader start to read the information. The EEPROM (smart card) memory deleted by Microcontroller program. According to power consumption the amount will reduced. When the amount is over ,the relay automatically shutdown the whole system. In our project also have provision to give an alarm sound to consumer before the whole amount is reduced.

UTILITY & APPLICATIONS
Prepaid energy mete with tariffe indicator provides improved cash flow management facility. The smart card can not be used twice. It provides security against Electricity misuse . It is an cost efficient alternative of Electricity billing. The system gives indication before whole amount will lost. It can reduce problem associated with billing consumer living in isolated area. More reliable and user friendly.
15
CONCLUSION
Prepaid energy meter with tariffe indicator is a concept to minimize the Electricity theft with a cost efficient manner. The users are not bound to pay excesses amount of money , users have to pay according to their requirement . It can reduces problem associated with billing consumer living in isolated area and reduces deployment of manpower for taking meter readings. Prepaid energy meter with tariffe indicator is more reliable and user friendly. 16
Microcontroller AT 89S52
AT 89S52 is 8-bit microcontroller with 8K Bytes insystem programmable flash with low power & high performance . The function of the microcontroller is to read the pulses collected by electronics hardware. The collected Industrial timing control and analyzed by microcontroller & displayed in per minute format on LCD display. The Microcontroller Based Ultrasonic Speed Measurement and controller information may be further processed & send to any remote monitoring station. It is accessed by two wire serial interface.
