Prayer Items “… pray about everything. With thankful hearts offer up your prayers and requests to God.”
Philippians 4:6 CEV
1. Making Disciples Pray for our friends and family members who do not know Christ and for those who have heard the gospel but who have yet to make a commitment to Him. Continue to pray for church folks as they prepare to share and witness to their friends this year. Pray especially for our guests who came in 2008, that they will back again. We will continue to hold movie nights this year so we can invite family and friends. 2. Leadership Pray that more and more servantleaders will be raised up to care for the growing congregation. Pray that those who minister to others will do so out of a pure motive of loving the Lord. (John 21:15-17) Pray for those we are training up for the pulpit ministry this year. Pray for them as they study and prepare their messages.
3. Youth
Pray for more youth to rise up and serve the Lord. Pray that the Youth Club (YC) will achieve its stated objective of reaching out to youths in the community. Pray also for our youths as they reach out to their friends.
4. FGT S2
Thank God for the growth of the S2 church Pray for assimilation of new folks and for growth, both numerically and spiritually. Pray that as we continue with the bilingual service in S2, more people
http://www.fgt2u.org/ will be reached with the gospel of Christ. Pray for those who are serving in the S2 church; that the Lord will bless them for their faithfulness and commitment.
5. Building Fund Pray for release of funds for the planning and construction of the church building. Pray for the ongoing discussions with the architect and for the submission of the building plans. Pray for our folks as they pray and pledge. Pray for the local authorities as they process and approve the plans that are submitted. 6. Nation
Pray for the lifting of the ban of the Bible in the National language. Pray for the favourable conclusion of the court case for the ruling for the use of the word “Allah” by nonMuslims. Pray for the Prime Minister and Government as they govern the nation so that we will continue to have peace and security and that the gospel will continue to be proclaimed. Pray for Malaysians, that the Lord’s presence will be with us as the world goes through economic hardship. Pray for God’s continued blessings.
7. 2009 Plans
Pray for Elijah Challenge ministry where church members will be trained to pray for the sick and the following evangelistic healing rallies during 11-14 June, 2009. Pray for church camp and youth camps in July 19-21 and December 13-16 respectively. Pray for the Membership Class on March 09 and the Water Baptism Service on April 12. FGT S2 celebrates 4th anniversary on March 1, and FGT Seremban, 19th anniversary on April 26.
