PowerPoint Presentation Literature Elements: Independent Reading Presentation Date:_________________________ Choose a fiction novel of at least 175 pages (must be okayed by me). You will prepare a PowerPoint presentation that will cover literary elements in the novel. Below you will find specifics concerning what you need to do. Use this sheet as a checklist, and mark off items as you complete them. Slide 1: Title Slide. Include the following on this slide:

The date

A “blurb”

Slides 2-4: Brief synopsis of the novel

Describe the main character (protagonist) along with any other important characters

Setting (both time and place) Explain the major problems. Are there both internal and external conflicts? Slide 5: Choose either suspense, flashback, or foreshadowing
