8,000ft – 23,000ft = 8,000ft ±1,000ft >23,000ft = (ALT – 6,000ft) / 2 Components All Controls are AC Powered Except for Canopy Defog, Which is Pneumatic Cabin Air Temperature Rheostat and Toggle Switch – Adjusts Temperature Control Valve Rheostat Only Operational When Toggle Switch is in AUTO (AC Powered) Toggle Switch (AC Powered) Cabin Pressure Switch CABIN PRESS – Activates Air Conditioning and Pressurization Systems RAM DUMP – Everything is Deactivated Except Anti-Ice and Hydraulic Reservoir Pressurization • Does Not Deflate Canopy Seals, But Does Not Continue • Controls the Bleed Air Shutoff Valve (AC Power) Defog Control – Controls the Volume of Bleed Air Entering the Cockpit Temperature Valve Maintains 200°F Backup Sensors Shut Off All Airflow if Temperature Exceeds 280°F Duct Howl – Ensure FCP and RCP Air Inlet Valves Match Vibrations Associated with Fumes Imply Air Conditioner Turbine Failure
