____________________________________________________Bahasa Inggeris PMR SECTION B You are advised to spend about 30 minutes on this question. Read the passage below and answer the question that follows.
Group tours are becoming more popular among Malaysians as they are interested in having relaxing and enjoyable holidays. They do not want to go through the tedious process of arranging for their hotel accommodation, meals and transport. Moreover, the cost involved will be a lot less than what an individual would have to pay if he has to travel on his own. Tour agencies can lower the cost because they can get good discounts for airfares, accommodation, meals and transports. Travellers can have a wide selection of the best tourist spots to visit as the tour guides are very familiar with these places. Thus, they are able to recommend more interesting places to visit for the duration of the tour. A variety of meals can also be obtained at reasonable prices. Travellers will be more well-prepared for the trip as the tour agents will brief them on almost all aspects of the tour before their departure. Write a summary on why Malaysians prefer group tour. Your summary must : •
not be more than 60 words, including the 10 words given below.
•
be in continous writing (not note form)
•
be written in ONE paragraph.
Use your own words as far as possible without changing its original meaning. Begin your summary as follows : Most Malaysian travellers prefer group tours as they are relaxing…….
