I had to specially develop and improve upon my quantitative skill in view of its importance in various competitive test”. 7-What are you key strength? My key strength is my ability to learn quickly ,for example, I had to represent my college in an intercollege science exhibition, and was introduced the team at the very last minute. I was able to understand our exhibits and artifacts and present them with good success. OR I think my greatest strength is my positive attitude, even the most hardest of time .During my college project, there has been couple of occasions ,where our idea was not falling in the place and the results were negative. I had to believe and think positively and keep my team motivated to persist on our idea. and finally we got the desire result. Or My best skill would be my verbal ability & articulation skill. I have worked as editor of our college magazine and have been involved with various literary forums during my school & college days.

8- What are your weaknesses? Or what is one thing which you have to improve about yourself. This is a tricky question. The exception here is to answer a negative treat with a positive twist.. I tend to try to take up two many things ,leaving little time for myself , I have learn to prioritize my tasks and being selective to come over it.. Or-Some time I become over detailed. While executing a particular task to get it to perfection. I have started giving a final touch to to all the task instead of going in detailed all about myself.

What do you know about us? Research the company and its business a bit before appearing for the interview. Also, find out a bit about the technologies they work upon. You don’t need to know everything inside out but having a fair idea about the company makes you appear interested in the position, to be taken seriously. For e.g. I see that your company does a lot of projects based on Open Source platforms like Joomla, Drupal, Magento which is quite interesting as I have a similar kind of experience. 12-Where do you see yourself in five years from now? As a fresher I am assuming the first five years will be a huge learning curve. I want to absord much of the industry knowledge and also to sharpen my technical abilities. In next five years I see myself playing various role in the team from a developer to leading a team.. Or- I would like to see myself in senior positions in the organization contributing to the technology as well as participating in business growth, I hope I can position myself with relevant experience by then.

13-What do you do to improve your knowledge? To answer this question, you can tell the recruiter about the forums which you keep

visiting, blogs which you keep reading. It will be an advantage if you are a member of some local user group.

14-Can you perform under pressure? Most of the times, the job of software development/….. is that of working under pressure. Sometimes, it will be the pressure of delivering on time while it can be that of a bug that has sprung all of a sudden in your code.

So, expect pressure in everything you do. It is important to maintain your performance and develop strategies to deliver under pressure. You can then go ahead an talk about your way of dealing with pressure and performing under it. OR I always try to face challenges in my life.so pressure doesn’t matter. Working under pressure is the opportunity to know about my ability and gaining confidence. OR I believe that if we love what we do ,we never feel the pressure .and we must always be ready to face the upcoming challenges.

15-Tell us some of your weaknesses. You have to be careful while answering this question. Do not offer a weakness which will directly affect your selection but at the same time saying that you do not have any weakness will not be right too. Every human being has weaknesses, so it is perfectly OK for you to have some too.

17-How do you rate your communication skills? Again, MBA.. is about dealing with people within and out of the company. So, it is important to have good communication skills. By good communication skills we mean, ability to understand and explain in a common language. So, if you believe that your communication skills are weaker, you need to work on them. Anything less than average or good is not acceptable here.

18-You do not have all the experience we need for this position?

It is not possible for a candidate to have all the experience an employer requires. Even if you match yourself up to the expectations on technical front, there will be some difference in the work environment. And, it is absolutely fine. The best way to deal with this question is to analyse the requirements of the position well and match your skills as close to them as possible. If something is still left untouched, offer your quick grasping power and ability to learn quickly as a solution & back it up with an example from the past.

How would you compensate for the lack of experience you have for this position? your ability to understand and pick up new things quickly should be able to compensate for the lack of work experience you have. 19-Why should we hire you? As a fresher you can’t commit to any expertise in any specific domain so the question is intend to understand what quality of yours will be helpful most for the company.. I have had some industry & and internship exposer .so being a fresher it will be easy for me adopt the new environment & the technology, in addition to the job responsibility I can also contribute the company in managing it’s events, product launch, in proposing the think tank team.

21-What if you are not selected for this position? Success and failure are both imperative aspects of life .if I don’t make the cut it today, I take it as a positive way, I would take it in a positive way but I would like to know where I lack and what area I could sharpen up so, that I can ensure future success . OR I come here to give my best ,haven’t really thought about anything. What to do if not selected.so I take this as a positive learning curve and ensure I will come back stronger the next time round. OR

Obviously, it will pinch me a little. Who deserve they got it. life has to move on ,I shall work harder to better my job specific skills and shall come out shining..

What is the difference between hard work & smart work? 22-

Hard work may give result but it takes much time. Smart work gives optimum results with less work& within less time. Because smart work is intangible asset of genius. or in simple words Herd work means work and then think. Smart work means think and then work. 23- Who

is the most inspiring person in life?

Try to mentioning someone besides your parents.. My greatest inspiration is Sachin Tandulkar. He had such a humble upbringing & his hard work took him to the greatest height in the world of sports. He still keep himself rooted and stay humble.

24-Would

you lie for the company?

I am afraid I can. Lying is the only tool which helps us to escape the current situation, but one day later we have to face it and have to find the solution.

25- Do

you want to ask any question?

Most I important question!! Never ever go into an interview without any preparation to ask any question, always keep a question ready. This is your opportunity to voice any of your concern regarding job. Like. Does company provides any higher education opportunity, Does corporate encourage any social activities, Training facilities etc.
