Materials: E= Essential materials. These are low cost items that will be required each day. O= Optional materials. These are useful, but NOT required items. Grading System Creative Photography The total number of points for each grading period will vary (depending on the number of assignments.) The point values for each assignment are: Homework: 5 Class Participation: 5 Contact Sheet: 10 Written Classwork: 10 Quizzes: 10-20 Sketchbook Check (2 per grading period): 25 Tests: 30-50 Bellwork: 45 (1 point per day) Shooting/ Studio Assignments (criteria below): 50 • Technical quality/ neatness • Creativity • Composition • Fulfills assignment • Critique participation Written Critiques: 50 Lab/ Studio Responsibilities: 50 Unprepared for Class: -2 Late Camera: -5 per day Late Work: Advanced Students may not turn in late Work! Shooting assignments are due at the beginning of class on the day of the critique. Sketchbooks are due by 2:45 on the due date.
