ASSIGNING PERMISSION TO USER YOEUR.MAN SNA: 2010 CLASS C •

This stage you will know how to assign permission to users in the name of you are the administrator in a company. Now, you will assign permission to users like graphic below, but each users can not access the other folders beside of itself.



Step 1: create folder shared name “Microsoft” and subfolders like picture above. Fore the each user we can create by use home folders. How to create home folder? You can create by guideline below: ( Notice: you have to create in the domain). Microsoft folder, right click on folde sharing and security

In the Permission box, give full control

- In the Security tape In the Permission box, give the full control. And in the security tape, give read to everyone. -First: go to Active Directory where your users are located and select all users and right click and properties.

- In the Properties for Multiple Items click on profile and then click on home folder click on connect

In To box: type the name of your hostname and the path of your users will located for example: \\man57\Microsoft\WorkshopI\ClassC\%username%. After you successful with your creating home folder to users, now you will assign the permission to the user like the graphic. All folders in Workshop I folder you give the inheritance permission to each folders . Notes, In Workshop I folder there are three folders such as ClassA, ClassB, ClassC. And how to inheritance permission you will know as guidelines below: Right click on folder ClassA  Properties  Security  Advanced

In Advanced Security setting drop tick on allow inheritable permission box and the message box will appear and click on Remove.

After you inheritance permission already, you should add the users or group would you like to access file or folder. Now, you click on Add and then add the name of users or group account and OK ,

After you add users or group already for the permission of G classA give Read and then click on Apply  OK

For the other folder please do the same like practice above and for all home folders of users is the same too.
