Penggunaan Gelar Program Studi Komputer di Indonesia Dirjen Dikti hanya menetapkan : Strata1 (Sarjana), diawali dengan S._ , umum digunakan S.Kom (Komputer) Diploma 3 (Ahli Madya), diawali dengan A.Md._ ,umum digunakan A.Md.Kom

Dilema : Asumsi masyarakat umum dengan S.Kom adalah bahwa sarjana komputer memahami semua permasalahan tentang komputer

Inti (40 %) Lokal (60%) 8 % s.d 20% dari Jumlah SKS adalah Mata Kuliah Pilihan yang dimasukan ke muatan kurikulum Lokal Perobahan kurikulum dapat dilakukan per 4 (empat) tahun Perobahan isi (content) dapat dilakukan pertahun Jumlah SKS untuk Strata 1 (S1) berkisar antara 140 s.d 160 UNIVERSITAS PUTRA INDONESIA “YPTK”

Pengembangan Kepribadian (MPK) = 8% Pengembangkan manusia Indonesia yang beriman dan bertaqwa pada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa dan berbudi pekerti luhur, berkepribadian mantap, dan mandiri serta mempunyai rasa tanggung jawab kemasyarakatan dan kebangsaan

Keilmuan dan Keterampilan (MKK) = 35% Memberikan landasan penguasaan ilmu dan keterampilan

Keahlian Berkarya (MKB) = 40% Menghasilkan tenaga ahli dengan kekaryaan berdasarkan dasar ilmu dan keterampilan

Perilalu Berkarya (MPB) = 13% Membentuk sikap dan prilaku yang diperlukan seseorang dalam berkarya menurut tingkat keahlian berdasarkan dasar ilmu dan keterampilan

Berkehidupan Bermasyarakat ( MBB) = 6% Memahami kaidah berkehidupan bermasyarakat sesuai dengan pilihan keahlian dalam berkarya UNIVERSITAS PUTRA INDONESIA “YPTK”

Tahapan Penyusunan Mata Kuliah 1. Tetapkan sasaran keahlian apa yang akan dicapai oleh lulusan 2. Pengelompokkan matakuliah 3. Perhatikan Keseimbangan penempatan antara kelompok matakuliah tersebut yang ditawarkan pada setiap semester 4. Perhatikan Pohon Ilmu/Pembelajaran dari Program Studi yang akan ditumbuhkan agar matakuliah yang ditawarkan pada setiap semester saling mendukung dan memudahkan dalam proses belajar mengajar.
