Course Outline Goal Now that you’ve acquired a basket of basic skills and knowledge, the goal of this semester is to stretch your craft skills and awareness in different directions to enable you to experience applying those skills in different ways, and, in so doing, to begin to strengthen your sense of yourself as a craftsperson.
Content After a warm-up class, we revisit the DOCUMENTARY mindset, methodology and style. We then venture deeper into Style – examining and playing with ways to achieve a variety of looks and feels. The next project is the perfect 1st testing ground for finding a Look and a Feel: the VIDEODANCE project integrates the camera as an element of the choreography. We then dive into Film as we round the corner towards the 16MM ADVERTS Project (which is all about Style).
