Project Description Sonystyle.com is the official online store for Sony to sell various ranges of its products to the consumers. The objective of this project is to replace the existing eFalcon fraud tool with Accertify’s Interceptas fraud tool. The Fraud Team Management identified a few gaps in the eFalcon tool’s capabilities. These gaps created an opportunity to upgrade the fraud system to a more robust solution. Key features of the Accertify tool that are absent from the eFalcon tool are as follows: • IP Geolocation • Support for new payment methods such as Paypal, Giftcard, Sony financing. • Single user interface for the fraud team to simplify processes • Single application for quicker response to new fraud tactics This project is responsible to check the authenticity of the sony online orders. Whenever a customer places an order, accertify checks if the payment detail or billing or shipping details are exist in the fraud data. If the data is available in the fraud database, the order will be rejected.
