Then one full time stocker Annie retired and was replaced by Amrita ,a young lady who had just left college. 

Pushpa and Annie had worked for 25 yrs and were very close. Pushpa had to train Amrita but no formal training and induction programme 

The first few months …...... 

Everything seemed well Amrita was very enthusiastic about her work Customers were happy to see a new face. 

The Conflict Process

Minimizing the conflict Ankit Could have anticipated the conflict Pushpa was used to working with Annie and she was likely to feel apprehensive Ankit’s assumption that team would integrate well…Some intervention to help members readjust

Minimizing the conflict ( Contd ….) Ankit could have talked with Pushpa what could have gone well or wrong and prepared action plan beforehand. More Structured induction and Training Program Regular Review meeting

Minimizing the conflict ( Contd ….) When Amrita’s behavior started changing, Ankit should have intervened 

Ankit should have helped others focus on Goals 

Remember !! An ‘APPLE’ a day can keep conflict at bay !
