Teaching English for Young Learner (TEYL) course asked the 6A class’ students to do an observation in order to know how the teacher manages the young learner while teaching English. The observation was done on February 14th 2019 in grade 1 of Lab Elementary School. The teacher who manage grade 1 of lab elementary school is Putu Yogi Arshita Dewi. The things that is being observed is how the teacher manage the class and students, how the teacher opened and closed the class, what activity the teacher applied such what games and how the teacher managed the game and how the teacher clarify the students’ answer, what kind of reward and negative reinforcement that the teacher gave to the students and how the teacher assessed the students. This essay will be about the result of the observation.
