Portfolios can be created for students using combinations of notebooks, section groups and sections.

1. Create a course folder on a shared drive. 2. Create a folder for your shared One Note Notebooks
3. In One Note create a new notebook. ○ File -> New Notebook ○ Give it a name (ex. English 10 Shared) - Next ○ Select "Multiple People will share this notebook"
○ Browse to the folder you created above the LONG way (don't use a mapped drive) My Network Places -> Entire Network -> Microsoft Windows Network -> ISB -> Leros> HSShared -> Course Materials
○ Open this folder and click Create. ○ Uncheck the box about sending an email. 4. In your new notebook add a Section Group 5. In that section group, add a section for each student 6. 7. 8. 9.
Close One Note (continue only if you want to modify permissions) Navigate to the folder that holds this notebook Right Click on the portfolios folder and select properties. Click on the security tab

Click Advanced Uncheck the box "Inherit Permissions" Click Copy in the box that comes up. Select Dom HS Student and Click Edit

Select OK -> OK -> OK Open the Portfolios folder and right-click a student section. Choose properties. Select Security (As above) Click Add Type the user id of your student (get these from them) Click Check Names Click OK Select the check box next to Modify.
