Reading Next week we will begin a unit on “Questioning.” Writing We are almost done publishing our Fictional Narratives!! Booklets will hopefully go home next week! Word Study This week we brainstormed words that are related to FALL and/or HALLOWEEN to do something a little different. Math We have begun a unit on “Subtracting.” In 3rd grade students should be able to do the following: subtract 2 and 3 digit numbers with and without regrouping, make change with money up to $5.00, solve subtraction word problems. Social Studies We have done continents, oceans, and imaginary lines. Right now we are learning specific things about our nation, including historical landmarks.
