We also had a three day weekend earlier this month for Columbus Day, although they call it “ T h e D ay T h a t Two Cultures Met.” Many students went to the beach for the weekend, but we stuck around here for our normal routine over the weekend and on Monday we went to Sarchi. Sarchi is known for furniture making and crafts, specifically the ox carts. Hopefully I’ll have the pictures ready for the next newsletter.
