The Nutty Nutcracker “Dancing Through the Decades” (Orlando, FL) September 1, 2009 – On December 13, 2009, Xtreme Dance Studio of Sanford will perform the 3rd Annual Nutty Nutcracker benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, who serve over 2000 families in the central Florida area. This performance will take place at the Lake Mary Performing Arts at Lake Mary High School at 3:30 PM. A silent auction and festivities for the children will take place prior to the show from 2:00PM until 3:30PM with a special visit from Santa.

Come get in the holiday spirit and join us for an entertaining performance of the Nutty Nutcracker as we take you through the decades and help in the fight against blood cancers!! The need to find a cure for leukemia and the other diseases that LLS work to cure is monumental. Funds raised will be used for research, education advocacy and provide financial help for families to cover the costs of treatment and travel. The show is under the direction of studio director and owner, Sheri Metcalf, Xtreme Dance Studio’s Dance Company. Sheri has an extensive background in performing, choreographing and teaching. This is Sheri’s third event that she has done and will continue to do annually in memory of her mother, Diane Corino, who was taken away from her at a young age from lymphoma. “Even if a cure doesn't come tomorrow, the funds you donate will have a bigger-than-life impact for someone. Someday, a cure for leukemia, lymphoma and its related cancers may be found. Perhaps because of special people like you, it will be sooner than we’ve ever dreamed possible”, said Sheri. It is all for a great cause and it will be a fun and memorable afternoon. Space is limited so purchase your tickets now. For additional information or to purchase tickets contact Sheri Metcalf at (407)330-7002 or email [email protected] or The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at (407)898-0733 or email [email protected]
