Important Qualification Information for Nursing (RN) VERY IMPORTANT 1. It is the student’s responsibility to notify Rhodes State College of any name, address or phone number changes. Students are notified of their acceptance into the program by U. S. Mail. Once offered an acceptance, the student has a specified period of time to respond. If, for any reason, an invited student does not respond, that student is removed from the qualification list, and the seat is offered to the next student. The most common reason this happens is because the student failed to update their address and phone number. To update information, please contact the Student Advising and Development Center, 148 Student Services Building or call (419) 995-8000. 2. After Qualifying, a student must maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher in order to remain on the qualified list. If the student’s GPA drops below 2.5, his/her name will be removed from the list. To re-qualify, the student must raise his/her GPA to or above 2.5. The student’s name will then be added to the qualification list based on the re-qualification date, which would be the last day of the quarter during which the GPA was raised to 2.5 or higher.
