MTHS Key Club Activity Sheet Monday, November 3, 2008 (Day 4) Please e-mail the appropriate chairperson when signing up for events, including your FULL NAME, GRADE, PHONE NUMBER, AND TIME SHIFT, if applicable. NEW CLUB WEB SITE: http://www.montville.net/highschool/keyclub GENERAL E-MAIL: [email protected] October 16-November 14: Operation Christmas Child ~ 10 HOUR LIMIT! Help supply children around the world with basic necessities for the holiday season through the Samaritan’s Purse organization. To participate: 1. Pack a shoebox with items such as toys, school supplies, hygiene products, & gum. NO chocolate, breakables, vitamins, or liquids! 2. Put the Donation Form with the Key Club Information inside the box. 3. Tape your gender/age label outside the box. 4. Attach a post-it to the outside of the box with your name & grade. 5. Drop off in room 411 by November 14. 1 box = 5 hours ~ 10 HOUR LIMIT Have questions? Contact President Michael Santoro at [email protected] November 4-21: Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive – 4 ITEMS = 1 HOUR ~ 10 HOUR LIMIT See separate flyer. Turn in all donations in a bag labeled with name & grade to the bin in rotunda. DO NOT BRING ANY FOOD TO THE ADVISORS’ ROOMS! November 4-December 12: Children’s Specialized Hospital Art Drive Help add some cheer to the New Brunswick facility by donating a quality drawing or painting to be displayed in the hospital halls! Hours given according for quality & effort. Drop off all donations to room 411 or 611 by December 12 labeled with name & grade. Have questions? Contact General Member Tara Czyzewski at [email protected]. THIS Wednesday, November 5: ALL UNICEF BOXES DUE TO ROOM 411 OR 611! Failure to hand it in on-time will result in a $20 fee. Spots for a tour of Children’s Specialized Hospital in Mountainside on Thursday, December 18 (day 1) will be given on a first come-first serve basis. Only 38 members can attend, so get your money and form in Mrs. Salazar’s mailbox or to room 611 A.S.A.P.!! Chaperones: Advisors Ms. Racanelli and Mrs. Salazar Have questions? Friday, November 21: Thanksgiving Food Drive Sorting & Packing LOTS of volunteers are needed to help sort pack all of the food donations! Want to earn even more hours? Bring a tray of baked goods for members to snack on! 2:30 p.m. in the Cafeteria – We will continue packing until the job is done. The more people that come, the earlier we finish!
