Red Hat is the world's most trusted provider of Linux and open source technology. Oracle Apps has been implemented in the Red Hat Head Office in US. This project entailed rollout of Oracle Apps for Red Hat India.

Role:

 Directing

a team of technical consultants for migration of masters & open transactions data from Tally to Oracle apps Financial Modules (AP, AR and GL), custom development of Reports and Interfaces as per business requirements.

 Devising test scripts for AR, AP modules.  Rendering user support during UAT and post implementation of project.  Implementation, Upgrade & Support of Oracle Apps 11i, Emirates Airlines, Dubai: Sep’02 – Jun’07 Synopsis:

Emirates Airlines based at Dubai has operations spanning Airlines, Cargo, Airport handling, Resorts and other airline related business activities. Emirates is using Oracle Apps for their financial operations, inventory maintenance and HR processing.

Role:

 Ensuring the implementation of Apps version 11.5.4, Customization, Testing & Support for Oracle Applications AR, AP, GL, PO modules and Airline Creditor (ALC) custom module which is a bolt-on to Oracle Apps.

 Executing the review of the new functionality with the new release of Oracle Apps.  Developing Custom PLLs as per business requirement in Oracle finance modules.

 Development of Pre-Payment Bolt-on Module Integrated with Oracle Financials in Emirates Airlines Head Office, Dubai: Nov’06 – Jun’07 Synopsis: The prepayment module allocates advances received and paid to customers and suppliers, to the actual expense cost centers. The prepayment definition details originate from the Oracle Financials Application (receivables, payables and general ledger modules – transactions which affect the prepayment nominal account) or from the excel spread sheet.

 Implementation of Oracle Apps 11i, British Midland Airways, UK: Jul’04 – Aug’04 Synopsis:

Customized Oracle standard reports and Developed new reports according to the client’s requirements. Migrations of Account Receivables open invoices and customer master from the legacy system to Oracle Apps.

 Rollout of Oracle Apps 11i , Emirates Tours (UK): Nov’03 – Jun’04 Synopsis:

Emirates Tours (UK) is in the business of selling Tour packages. Rollout Oracle financials to the Emirates Tours (UK). I was Involved in setting up AR, AP & GL modules, UAT and, user training, data migration & new reports development as per user requirement, post implementation support, period end milestone functional/technical support.

 Implementation of Oracle Apps 11i, Virgin Atlantic Airways (UK): Jun’03 – Aug’03 Synopsis:

Customized Oracle standard reports and developed new reports according to the client’s requirements. Developed custom BSP interface, which reads the downloaded PDF file from the Net and interfaces it with standard Oracle Applications AR module using IPM (Interface Process Manager).

 Post Production Support of Oracle Apps 11i, Air Malta Airways (Malta): Feb’03 – Mar’03 Synopsis:

Standard Oracle Receivables Statement of Account and Ageing programs were not tallying with the Customized programs in Air Malta. Investigated the same (on-site and off-site) and successfully corrected the custom developed programs in the scheduled time frame.

AFL Ltd. is market leader in Logistics and Freight Forwarding Industry. AFL is the first Indian company to implement Oracle Financials 11i.
