BEFORE START N.B points before installation Please read with care before DVR installation. This will save precious time and energy to learn and study important points to install and run Servntec DVR. For users who are already used our systems, please read this again with care. And let’s start DVR …with this Manual. DVR stands for DVR (Digital Video Recorder), which transform analogue image and audio data to (Digital Video Recorder) data and records and save these data in HDD. This High-End system cut the old VCR system’s cost and labors, and gives all users to access saved data by easy and simple data system in anywhere and anytime by Network. What is DVR?

Check Points for installation 1) Place the systems on flat and dried place after unpacking, where has good distance between the back of system and wall (15 cm), and note that this place has to be good ventilation area.
2) Please avoid the place where has strong electromagnetic waves (like Speaker and Amplifier). 3) Please avoid the area where has direct rays of sun and heating to protect systems which is very sensitive to lighting and heat. 4) Pease avoid place where is directly open to low temperature of outside. 5) Please pay attention not to get damage by tools and other devices in the installed place. 6) Please avoid the place where has high vibration or temperature or humidity. 7) Please check the power voltage before connecting power. (The default voltage setup is 220V. So in the nations where use 110V, please change this to 110V by switcher in the back of system) 8) Please throw vinyl pack cover in the safe place or waste bin, where children can not touch. This vinyl can be dangerous for children to play and use with.

N.B Points to use 1) When users pull integrated system apart by themselves, users can not get full maintenance services and A/S from supplier. So please contact the supplier first in malfunctions. 2) Please study the manual first before operating DVR. 3) Recommend contacting supplier or Servntec’s support team before dismantle system or manage by users. 4) Please do not handle consent or power lines with wet hands. 5) Please connect power lines to consent correctly. 6) Please do not use thinner, Benzene, or alcoholic matter as cleaner. 7) Please keep away from the extended terminal. 8) Please shut all program and S/W before Power Off. (When users can not shut down power, please use Power Button in the front of system) 9) Please keep the system away from Magnetic Matter, and place it in the place with good ventilation. 10) Please do not dismantle or maintain the system without discussion with Expert or supplier or Servntec support Team. 11) Please do not put heavy things on the system. 12) Please do not move the system while system is running. 13) When users detect some smoke or scorching stinks, please shut down the system immediately and contact the supplier or Servntec support Team.

The available warranty for free change is 1 year. (When these malfunctions are caused by users mistake or natural disasters, this warranty is not available)

System Overview
What is DVR(Digital Video Recorder)? DVR system transform the analog video and
voice data into ones and stores on a storage device (HDD or Others), and allows users to search by any criteria they specify, and to make users can access the data through a network in anytime and anyplace. This is commonly known as the DVR(Digital Video Recorder) DVR in <Wikipedia… www.wikipedia.org >. Please read more on this. Digital Video Recorder (DVR) (or personal video recorder (PVR)) is a device that records video without videotape to a hard drive-based digital storage medium. The term includes stand-alone set-top boxes and software for personal computers which enables video capture and playback to and from disk. Some consumer electronic manufactures have started to offer televisions with DVR hardware and software built in to the television itself.

To use all the function of system, users have to unlock firstly. This can be done by passing ID and Password authorization. To prevent any problems, users(administrator) have to setup function.

How to setup PTZ Preset Description
PTZ preset makes users setup PTZ cameras to move as setup position for monitor the wanted place.
Preset Icon
When setup, the (Before Clikc) flag changed to Red(Click). ※ According PTZ Receiver model, there is some model not to support PTZ. Users have to check this first. ※TIP: Before setup, users have to check the place where needs Preset function.

Environment Setup
The environment setup is used to configure main system operation functions like Monitoring, Recording, Search, Backup, Sensor and Motion Detection, Relay control and Network. Users can setup all functions based on users’ situation and need (Operation Time, Recording time, Event Scenario). Please note the following information.
The setup menu consists of 9 tabs. When you finish operation for each tab, click the “Apply” ” button before moving to the next tab.
When the system detects a failure, the watch-dog function reboots the system in
specified period of time with the beep. The system is not configured with this function in the warehouse. Check the watch-dog setup column to use this function.
If the beep is configured to work with event signals, which are different from the watch-dog function, the beep may be generated. For your reference, the system generates the beep when the camera signal is disconnected.
Some functions automatically reboots the system when selected. These are available only after the system rebooted.(Change NTSC to PAL system)
Only four cameras are configured to constantly record the images in the warehouse.
Setup the schedule, and the condition to record and use cameras as required by the field..
Click the “Apply” button after configuring each tab and click “OK” to complete the
setup process. Then, following window appears in the monitoring screen and the screen starts to blink within approximately 5 seconds while initializing the hardware and software
