GENERAL INFORMATION ACCREDITED PROVIDER STATUS - New York County Lawyers’ Association has been certified by the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board as an Accredited Provider of continuing legal education in the State of New York March 8, 2007 - March 7, 2010. PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDAR - Upon arrival, check in at the Registration Desk. If registering at the door, the appropriate fee must accompany your registration form plus a $25 late charge. No personal checks will be accepted at the door. REFUNDS /TRANSFERS - Written notice of cancellation or transfer must be received by NYCLA no later than one hour prior to the start of the program. A $35 processing fee per course will be deducted from the refund for cancellations received less than five calendar days prior to the course date. No refunds will be issued after the program start time; program materials will be shipped within two weeks after completion of the program to registrants who have not notified the Institute of cancellation in a timely manner. A $15 transfer fee will be charged for all transfer requests. ENTRANCE AND FACILITIES FOR THE DISABLED - are available. Please call at least one day in advance to make arrangements: (212) 267-6646. PROGRAM CREDIT FOR OTHER MCLE STATES - Many states with MCLE requirements will grant continuing legal education credits for our programs. Please contact the appropriate State CLE Administration Office for information. TUITION ASSISTANCE - Tuition assistance, available by application, will be extended to those attorneys who are unemployed, or employed in the public sector and who can establish financial hardship. Attorneys who meet these criteria may be granted a credit towards the applicable course registration fee. Applications must be received no later than one week prior to the program for consideration. A resume, affirmation of income and a $10 non-refundable processing fee per course must accompany applications.
