new program summary i. read and talk: 8. a program for junior students. 9. two types of books: timeless classics and national geographic 10. timeless classics:  day 1: chapter 1, day 2: chapter 2 and day 3: review of chapter 1 and 2 (questions will be provided on the teacher’s website) • you will also give a writing assignment for every class and you will see it in rnt writing. • when you click on the orange tab “correction” you will see the questions and the answers of your student. • classes will be 3x a week for 10 minutes only. • h.w. is to read the next chapter. • you will not read the story in class, you will only ask questions about the pictures and do words up (words in blue), expressions up and quiz quiz. • it has 20 books, 10 levels and 4 program types. 11. national geographic • it has 72 books, 6 levels and 3 program types. • program types: emergent (red), early ( purple), and fluent (green) • each topic has two books: 1 workbook and 1 picture book • day1: picture book (ask questions about the pictures; finish the entire picture book in one 10 minute class.) • day2: reading test (emergent/early) or reading check up (fluent)-workbook • day3: comprehension test-workbook • h.w. is to read the activities in the work book but you don’t check that in class. ii. writing program (rnt writing) • •

this is for read and talk, your student will have a writing assignment about the topic for the day and they can read and answer the questions on the student’s website. you may view their answers once you click on the orange tab named as “correction” and make the necessary corrections after.

iii. writing member 12. the students are enrolled in a 3 hour english class in the academy. 13. within the last hour they will have 20 minutes for the writing member class. (this is where we come in)

14. for 20 minutes you will still teach them like how you conduct any other classes. 15. the main difference is that your student will always have 2 writing assignments after your class. 16. you will be checking that writing assignment through the teacher’s website. look for “correction” and click it to see the window for school writing. 17. in school writing you will see the two questions and you will also be able to make corrections by typing it in the box provided. 18. your student’s books can be on of the ff: pnt sr.1-3, ecn, toeic sr., and toeic jr. (also know as pnt jr. speaking test) 19. once you are done with the 20 minute class make sure you click on save asap. (so you have to be done with your notes) 20. you need to save it immediately because w/o doing so your student will not see the questions. they will

answer the questions in the academy. 21. your comments will be a little bit different you will write about the following: 22. (pronunciation, intonation and stress, grammar, vocabulary, cohesion, relevance of content, and completeness of content.) iv. cho sun newspaper 23. this is an inbound call and the students will be paying by the minute. 24. you will talk about the given topic and read the dialogue provided with your students. 25. we have to make the class more interesting and do some free talking. (the longer the class the better) 26. this class does not have any time limit. you also don't need to write down comments because it's just like a free talking class 27. there will be a few teachers who will take this classes. their schedules will be blocked off by their shift managers. once you've been chosen to have cho sun classes you will be assigned to one of the "els" stations and wait for a student to call.

this is a program similar to toeic speaking test students will be in the senior level your classes will be once a week=4 times a month. you will have the web books on the teacher’s website. you will cover three pages in class and give the speaking tip part as a part of their homework. each class is for ten minutes. first page you need to discuss everything. second and third page you just need to choose one question per category.
