Description and Setting • Action happens in a town called Stamps. • When the main character is in the tenth year. • The education of black and white girls was very different.

Description and Setting • She starts working in a big house and she doesn’t like her boss.

Plot • Margaret starts being victim of racism by her boss. • She doesn't like it, so she starts doing things wrong. • In the end she is fired, and she is happy with that.
