Description: Skandia, a Berlin based financial marketing organization, has come a long way from an insurance company back in 1855 to being a modern global savings company offering innovative, world-class financial services and products to its customers on five continents. Today it is a well-known brokerage firm that masters in equity trading, asset management, mergers and acquisitions. Transparent Investment Management (TIM) and Asset Management and Breakage (ASMB) are the applications developed for Skandia. These intranet-based applications simulate the Skandia business in equity trading. My role in the project is to develop the JSP, Servlets, EJB for the above applications that are used by the employees of Skandia for online trading. With the backend processing taking place in oracle and transaction management handled by EJB. Description: Electronic Purchase Order – is a Development Project of Pulte. A largest builder of homes in the United States. Pulte tracks the expenditures for each unit of material and labor. Through it is Lawson Accounting System (Existing in Cobol). Pulte is facing problem in tracking expenditures that include breakage, Damage to materials by tradesmen performing other jobs. Etc, These unbudgeted expenditures must be identified, assigned to appropriate codes, approved and be paid (charged back to vendor). In response to this problem, EPO a web-based solution was developed automated the creation. Approval and tracking the payment of these exceptional activities Environment
