Answer Calculator Inactive C D D D Calculator Active A A D C B C A D A D D B C Calculator Active 48 96 = = 96% Part A: 50 100 Part B: To find the probability that Anwar will be in school the next day, I wrote a fraction where the numerator is the number of days he has been in school (the favorable outcome), and the denominator is the number of total days of school (total # of experiments). I know he has been out of school for 2 days, so if there were 50 days, he 48 must have been in school for 48 days. My fraction is . 50 In order to change the fraction into a percent, it must have a denominator of 100. I can change the denominator to 2 100 by multiplying the fraction by , which makes the 2 96 new fraction . This fraction is the same as 96 100 percent.

MSA Review Grade 6 Week 4 need to multiply first. That gives me 13 – 10 + 9 ÷ 3. Next I need to divide: 13 – 10 + 3. Then I need to subtract: 3 + 3 = 6. In order to make the numerical expression equal to 19, I would have to put parentheses around 13 – 10, so that operation could be done first. (13 – 5) • 2 + 9 ÷ 3. 13 – 5 would be done first to make 8 • 2 + 9 ÷ 3. Then I would multiply to make 16 + 9 ÷ 3. Division would be next 16 + 3 = 19.
