Abstract: In this research article, a novel approach is utilized to design a nonlinear component S-box. For this purpose firstly, we established a specific type of invertible mapping through the application of left action 8
of invertible 2x2 matrix on GF( 2 )to generate the elements of substitution box (S-box). Furthermore, to increase the confusion capability of constructed S-box we applied 1’s and 2’s compliment technique for shuffling of elements of S-box. Finally, to investigate the capacity of created S-box we utilized different methods from literature such as strict avalanche criterion, nonlinearity, linear approximation probability, bit independence criterion and differential approximation probability.

Outlines: Introduction: Introduction about the construction of S-box and their applications in different algorithms used to provide security for confidential information. Step-wise procedure for designed method: In this section we will discuss about the whole research methodologies use for the construction of S-box and also application of 1’s and 2’s compliments methods will be analyze. Conclusion: In this section we will conclude that we can increase ability of S-boxes through the utilization of 1’s and 2’s compliments methods.
