Site agent to have mandatory contact with the supplier. Operator to be inducted. Appointment to 18:1:2 before use. Allocate banksman to each crane operator and both to be inducted in usage of signals. Site agent. Foreman to ensure that the procedure is followed before use.

Head, shoulders and all body parts.

Induct workers not to walk or stand under suspended loads. Site agent to enforce procedure before use.

Crane may be electrified. Cables falling on workers.

Load hitting scaffold or deck or shutter causing collapse and workers falling.

Slings might slip, change position and unhook causing load to fall.

Site Agent to skip boxes is available on site at the start of the contract. Crane to operate at distance of 5m from power lines. If closer under supervision of foreman. If it is not possible Site Agent to consult with electrical experts before commencing, before use. Operator to be instructed to keep 2m distances from structure with his load. Site agent to instruct operator and foreman charge hand accordingly before use. All crane hooks to be fitted with safety clips. Replace damaged clips immediately.

All body parts. Site agent make sure safety clips are kept in stock at the store before use. Page 4 of 5

Use guide ropes to guide the loads. Site agent to access. During operation. Operator and banksman to know capacities of slings and carne and never to exceed. Site agent/ foreman to enforce not to exceed limits before use. Foreman to supervise positioning of machine. Check settlement of outriggers and bases used. Spreader boards. Site agent to discuss procedure and control of mobile crane with the foreman before use.
